Terms of Service
To maintain our level of quality, we have several strict guidelines for new and existing clients. For new clients, Vicky’s Home Services will explain our cancellation and no cancellation policies. These policies are dependant on the preferred day of service. Any appointment changes or cancellations must be made during regular business hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM PT. 2 Day Notice Required for All Cancellations
Life happens. Unless there is a natural disaster which severely impacts client or Vicky’s Home Services ability to perform the services requested, all appointments are considered FINAL and billable. If you need to cancel an appointment and your scheduled date does not fall under the “Preferred Day” policy, you may cancel or re-schedule your appointment for a later time. All appointments are considered valid and in good standing unless you have a confirmed cancellation. All cancellation requests must be made during regular business hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 PM – 6:30 PM PT.
Last Minute Cancellation Fees OR Client No-shows
It is our client members responsibility to notify Vicky’s Home Services of any changes or cancellations. Vicky’s Home Services keeps a very tight schedule and last minute notices, changes or cancellations have a severe impact on our clients schedules. To maintain our level of service, we must charge a minimum 50% fee for same day cancellations and 100% of all fees due for last minute cancellations.
If Vicky’s Home Service’s shows up for a scheduled appointment and we have no access to your home or office at the time of arrival, Vicky’s team will wait 5 minutes before the appointment is automatically cancelled and labeled as a “client no-show, unable to access home or office”. This type of cancellation will be billed for 100%. If client decides they would like us to return and we are able to accomodate client, we will charge your standard cleaning rate plus an additional 30% fee for our trips. We cannot guarantee availability for return service under this type of situation. As an existing client member, you may re-schedule your appointment for the same week pending time slot availability from Vicky’s Home Services. Please understand that if you skip your standard cleaning visit, Vicky’s Home Service’s may charge you an additional service fee on the following service appointment. This service fee will cover the extra time and effort required to clean your home. All requests must be made during regular business hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 PM – 6:30 PM PT. Preferred Day: No Cancellation Policy ( Thursday, Friday or Saturday )
New and existing clients who prefer a home or window cleaning appointment on Thursday, Friday or Saturday have a strict no cancellation policy. We have a waiting list for client members who would love to take one of these days. If an appointment is cancelled for service scheduled on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, Vicky’s Home Services will charge the full service fee. Payment will be due on or before your next appointment. All cancellation requests must be made during regular business hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 PM – 6:30 PM PT.
Frequent Cancellations Policy
If your service appointment falls on Thursday, Friday or Saturday’s and you cancel service frequently, Vicky may, upon notification to you, request that your scheduled appointment time be moved to a regular day. If there are no issues with payment for cancelled appointments, you may request for us to keep your service appointment on the preferred day. However, we may not be able to accomodate your preferred time slot. Please call us if you have any questions.
We provide easy and convenient payment methods. Effective March 1, 2014, all service fees are due at the time of service or earlier. Payments not received at time of service are considered late. Payments received after 2 business days (Monday – Saturday) following services rendered, will be considered late and incurr a $10.00 dollar late fee. If we need to return to your home or office for payment, we will charge a $10.00 – $25.00 pick-up fee, depending on distance from our offices.
On time payments allow us to efficiently track services paid. Late payments require us to go back and enter data for services paid on previous days. For this reason, we charge the late fee as it takes into account time spent to bring your account status up-to-date.
Bounced Check Policy
If you use a personal or business check to pay for our services, we urge you to verify fund availability to avoid any bounced checks. Bounced checks will be considered late payments by default and incurr a $10.00 fee in addition to the bank fees charged to us by the bank. You may send us another check, pay by cash or credit card. Please be sure to include any late fees or charges due on your account. If you need us to pick up payment from you, we will charge a $10.00 – $25.00 late payment pick-up fee. Vicky’s Home Services, Inc. takes your privacy seriously and does not share your information with any third parties.
This Policy applies to all Customers and Users. The “client member” who holds the account with Vicky’s Home Services is responsible for making sure they (client), understand and agree to this Policy. Information that you provide to non-Vicky’s Home Services companies is not covered by this Policy and Vicky’s Home Services shall bare no responsibility for protecting any such information divulged by client members/users.
A “client member” is anyone who uses Vicky’s Home Services or products. When a client member uses /requests products or services on someone else’s behalf, those individuals may also be considered “Client Members” for purposes of this Policy.
A “user” is anyone who visits our websites.
Personal Information” is information that directly identifies or reasonably can be used to identify an individual client member or user. Examples include name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
Group member information ” means information about groups of client members or users, which does not identify and cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual client member or user.
Websites” means any page or location on the web accessible by any means be it a desktop computer or mobile device.
Information – We may collect different types of personal and other information based on your use of our products and services and our business relationship with you, including contact information; billing information, Vicky’s Home Services website usage, viewing and other technical information about your use of our network, services, products or websites. Information may be collected when you give it to us with the intent to use our services or interact with us about a product or service we offer or provide. We collect user data automatically when you visit our websites or use our products and services.
Our goal of collecting your information is to provide you with the best home and window cleaning experience possible by communicating with you regarding service updates, offers and promotions. We may, on occasion, deliver advertising that may be of interest and or benefit to you. We may use such information to communicate with you regarding violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Websites Use Policies.
Disclosure – We do not sell your Personal Information to anyone for any purpose, at any time. We maintain information about you in our business records while you are a client member, or until it is no longer needed for business, tax, or legal purposes. We have implemented encryption or other appropriate security controls to protect Personal Information when stored or transmitted by our Vicky’s Home Services websites.
We share your information only with third-party companies that perform services with us or on our behalf, and only as necessary for them to perform those services. We require third-party companies to protect any personal information they may receive in a manner consistent with this policy, and we do not provide Personal Information to third-party companies for the marketing of their own products or services without your consent. We may provide Personal Information to partnered third-party companies or other third parties for purposes such as emergencies, pursuant to court orders, identity verification to prevent fraud and identity theft, enforcing of property rights, or obtaining payment for products and services that appear on your Vicky’s Home Services billing statements.
Exclusions – Information that you voluntarily provide to third-party companies is not covered by this Policy. If you use public forums — such as social networking services, Internet bulletin boards, chat rooms, or blogs on Vicky’s Home Services or non-Vicky’s Home Services websites — you should be aware that any personal information you disclose publicly can be read, collected, or used by others. Vicky’s Home Services cannot prevent distribution and use of that information by other parties.
Vicky’s Home Services, Inc. may enter into written service agreements with client members that require specific provisions related to the confidentiality, security or other handling of their personal information. When provisions of a written product or service agreement differ from or conflict with the provisions of this policy, the terms of the written agreement will apply. In all other instances, the terms of this Policy apply.
- Security – We have placed safeguards designed to secure the information we collect, to prevent unauthorized access and to prevent disclosure of such information. Although we strive to keep your Personal Information secure, no security measures are absolute, and we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Policy (for example, as the result of unauthorized acts by third parties that violate the law or this Policy). We will make reasonable attempts to notify you if we determine that Vicky’s Home Services has experienced a security breach or where otherwise required by law.
- Policies – We have established policies and practices to meet the expectations of client members and prospective members who have expressed a desire to limit certain types of solicitation from Vicky’s Home Services, including marketing efforts made via telephone, e-mail and text messaging. You may request to be removed from our marketing list for all or specific media. If at a later point you wish to receive our marketing or promotional communications, fill out the contact form on our website and send us a note.
- Email Marketing – Vicky’s Home Services works hard to limit unwanted (also referred to as “spam” e-mails) from ever reaching your inbox. However, if you are receiving unwanted email communications from a Vicky’s Homer Services e-mail address, please contact us for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org
- Policy Changes – Information about our client members and users, including personal information, may be transferred as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the unlikely event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which client members and user records would be transferred to another entity as a result of such a proceeding.
